GSC Online Press is committed to providing high-quality publishing and editorial services to authors and clients. We believe in maintaining transparency and fairness in all transactions. This policy outlines the terms and conditions related to cancellations and refunds for services offered by Global Scholarly Communication Online Press (GSC Online Press).
In general, refunds are not applicable in cases where the services have already been delivered correctly and there is no error or mistake from the side of GSC Online Press. However, we strive to assist our clients in case of genuine concerns or dissatisfaction.
If you have any questions regarding this policy, you may contact us at any time and our support team will be happy to assist you.
Cancellation Policy
- DOI Assignment Services: Once an article is confirmed for publication and a DOI is registered, the DOI cannot be cancelled or modified under any circumstances. DOI registration is governed by the rules and regulations of Crossref.
- Article Corrections: Requests for corrections in a published article must be submitted within three (3) business days after publication. Requests received after this period may not be considered. Any post-publication correction resulting from author errors, will incur additional charges. Corrections due to publisher mistakes will be made without any charge.
- Promotional or Discount Services: Services offered during promotional campaigns, special offers, or discounted periods are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
- Account Cancellation: GSC Online Press reserves the right to suspend or cancel any user account at its discretion if necessary to protect the integrity of the platform or in case of policy violations.
Refund Policy
GSC Online Press strives to provide reliable, professional, and efficient publishing services to authors and clients. The publication process involves significant editorial, technical, and administrative work, including manuscript processing, peer-review coordination, formatting, DOI registration, indexing preparation, and online publication. These services require time, resources, and payments to third-party organizations.
Therefore, once a manuscript has been accepted for processing or publication and the publication workflow has begun, the fees paid for publication are generally non-refundable. This policy is necessary because the publication process involves costs that are incurred immediately after submission or acceptance of the manuscript.
- Article processing and editorial management activities begin once a manuscript enters the publication workflow.
- Technical services such as manuscript formatting, layout preparation, plagiarism screening, and metadata preparation are carried out during the publication process.
- Registration of Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and related services involves payments to external organizations and therefore cannot be cancelled once completed.
- Administrative and operational costs associated with manuscript handling are incurred regardless of whether the article proceeds to final publication.
For these reasons, GSC Online Press does not provide refunds once the publication process has commenced. Authors are therefore requested to carefully review all submission and publication details before confirming their publication request.
However, if any issue arises due to a mistake or error on the part of the publisher, we will review the matter and take appropriate corrective action to resolve the concern.
