Abstract:
This study investigated the phytochemical composition of the leaf extract of the plant Bryophyllum pinnatum (Odaa Opuee). The qualitative analysis of Bryophyllum pinnatum results revealed the presence of terpenoids, flavonoids, and phenols, while the quantitative analysis were flavonoids (1.387 ± 0.020) terphenoids (1.560 ± 0.081), and phenol (1.193 ±0.009). The results of this research indicates that Bryophyllum pinnatum contain some bioactive compounds which could be of medicinal uses.
